How To Speed Up Firefox Browser
Tweaking The Right Settings
Step 1 : Open your Firefox browser
Step 2 : Go to the address bar and type in "about:config" and press Enter
Step 3 : After that you will see warning notice, just ignore it by click "I'll be careful,I promise!" button
Step 4 : Go to the search bar and search for "network.http.pipelining" and and change the value to True
Step 5 : After that search for "network.http.pipelining.ssl" and and change the value to True
Step 6 : Search for "network.http.proxy.pipelining" and change the value to True again.
Step 7 : The last one search for "network.http.pipelining.maxrequests" and change the value to 8
Step 8 : Restart your Firefox browser
Install Fasterfox Extension
Fasterfox is an extension that made for Firefox browser. It can improve your browsing speed and load everything quickly and faster than unusual. If you feel like your Firefox speed are decreased you can install Fasterfox extension from here.
Note : This extension only works in Firefox browser only. It won't work for other browser.
Disable/Remove Extensions
There are many unnecessary extensions that installed on your Firefox browser. Those ads on can slow down your browsing speed and load speed. If you don't need them you can disable or remove by :
- Open Firefox
- Go to Menu >>> Ads-ons >>> Extension
- Disable or Remove the Extension you don't need
Remove Unwanted Toolbars
Sometimes while you're browsing the web you have clicked the advertisement and automatically installed toolbars on your browser without notice. You wonder why your browser load everything so slower than before, That because of too many toolbars in your browser. If you have unwanted toolbars you can remove them by going to the Control Panel.
